Key Responsibilities:
The role of Specialist Support Worker is fundamental to the Salvation Army’s desire to help vulnerable clients achieve positive outcomes. As such, you will be passionate, target-driven, dynamic, and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of services for vulnerable clients in a competitive climate. You will also champion excellence in ensuring our clients are central to our services and that successful individual outcomes are achieved.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
Extensive experience working within a supported outreach environment and possess a Level 3 NVQ qualification or equivalent in a related field, or be willing to work towards it.
As a Specialist Support Worker, you will provide a high-quality frontline service to victims of trafficking, including sexual exploitation, domestic servitude, forced labour, and other forms of human trafficking. You will deliver a service to those at highest risk while working within a multi-agency framework alongside the Home Office, police, medical practitioners, local authority, and housing.
The location will be disclosed to successful candidates upon completion of reference and DBS checks due to the confidentiality of the project.
