Working for your organisation
The Endoscopy unit at The Princess Royal Hospital consists of 4 procedure rooms. The unit delivers the Bowel Cancer screening service alongside the diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy service to outpatients and inpatients. We are a training unit, training both medical staff and nurse endoscopists. We are committed to supporting your ongoing professional development.
Registered nurses on the unit have an obligation to participate in an out-of-hours on-call service for emergencies following training. When on call, nurses are expected to attend within one hour of call out. The Endoscopy unit is now providing a 7-day working service.
