Commercial Sales Executive (Insurance) £28-35k plus commission Harlow Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm Southam Selections are currently working with an Insurance company in Harlow who are looking for a strong Commercial Sales Executive to join their SME team. This role is crucial for driving revenue growth and establishing long-term relationships with our clients. Responsibilities include; New Business Development - Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and referrals. Develop a robust pipeline of prospective clients to drive sales growth. Client Relationship Management - Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing commercial clients. Understand their unique insurance needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs. Sales Presentations - Conduct engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients. Clearly articulate the value of our insurance products and services. Negotiation and Closing - Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure profitable deals. Employ effective closing techniques to convert leads into customers and meet or exceed sales targets. Market Analysis and Strategy - Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs. Utilise this knowledge to develop effective sales strategies. Collaboration with Internal Teams - Work closely with Head of Sales and Insurers to facilitate smooth policy issuance and address client inquiries. Ensure that clients receive exceptional service throughout the sales process. Sales Performance Tracking - Utilise CRM software to track sales activities, manage leads, and maintain accurate records of client interactions. Skills and Experience Proven experience in sales, preferably in commercial insurance or related industry with a record of achieving sales targets. Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and the ability to explain complex concepts to clients. Results oriented mindset with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets. Ability to influence and persuade clients effectively, using tailored sales pitches and value propositions that resonate with their needs. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple client accounts, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a demanding environment. Ability to assess client needs and challenges, propose effective solutions, and address any issues that arise during the sales process. Strong diligence in preparing proposals, contracts, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
