Your main duties will include: Document Management : Typing legal documents from hand-written notes or transcribing digital dictation. Managing the flow of documents and correspondence in and out of the department. Communication : Handling telephone inquiries, managing the Fee Earners’ diaries, and organising internal and external meetings. You'll also be responsible for scanning, emailing, and faxing correspondence. File Management : Opening and closing files, ensuring all documents are properly filed. Support : Providing assistance to other secretaries across the firm during times of urgent need or when workloads are light. Specialist Skills: Tech Savvy : Proficiency in Word is essential. Familiarity with PowerPoint, Excel, and a Practice Management System will be advantageous. Communication : Excellent telephone skills and a clear, professional writing style are required.
