The Key Responsibilities of this Peterborough based FMCG role titled Sourcing and Procurement Co-ordinator - Food will be to:
Drive our risk management agenda, owning processes and tracking of our BCPs/SLAs/Contracts
Supports the team in NPD & EPD projects, including managing smaller projects.
Collation of supplier information and an active role in procurement meetings and supplier visits, outlining performance and any reoccurring quality trends.
Supporting the team on EPR, Carbon and ESG projects from initiation to delivery
Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and review of all key Procurement logs ensuring they remain up to date and accurate
Responsible for working collaboratively with the department to review all internal procurement processes for greater automated and drive efficiency.
Responsible for all aspects of account management for smaller suppliers, including any budgetary aspects.
Accountability for collating our packaging, raw materials and bought in product, non- conformance's, ensuring quality issues are reported allowing remedial actions to be put in place via category lead, KPIs to be reported monthly
Completion of internal product information database system in a timely manner for the procurement department for all new product set ups, this includes pallet plan data, weights & measures of packaging and materials.
Monthly OTIF reporting - managing and co-ordinating this data ready for S&OP report.Profile
To be successful within this Peterborough based FMCG role titled Sourcing and Procurement Co-ordinator - Food you will have:
A keen eye for detail - especially when it comes to processing invoices and keeping accurate records
Strong computer skills - experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is helpful, and my client will teach you the rest
Great organizational skills - you're good at managing tasks and staying on top of deadlines
Good communication and teamwork
A continuous improvement mindset
A willingness to learn about purchasing, quality and supply chain processes - prior experience is a bonus but not essential
Hybrid working - You'll be based in the office minimum 2-3 days a week
