Quality Inspector - Engineering Environment
Responsibilities:
* Conduct finishing and final inspections of machine parts to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained at all times.
* Perform final inspections based on customer requirements, including visual inspections, first-article inspection reports, and dimensional measurements.
* Check and release first-off parts produced in the machine shop.
* Assist with final finishing operations such as polishing (manual and automated), part marking, and deburring.
* Operate PC-driven measuring equipment for tasks such as TESA, surface measurement, and contrasting.
* Complete all required QA documentation and file QA paperwork.
* Operate machinery as requested, including changing and measuring parts.
* Maintain confidentiality of customer proprietary information.
* Stay aware of quality requirements and health and safety responsibilities.
* Adhere to procedures for proper use and care of equipment, systems, and materials.
Essential Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a quality/inspection role within an engineering environment.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and check measurements.
* Strong awareness of quality requirements and health and safety responsibilities.
* Adherence to procedures for proper use and care of equipment, systems, and materials.
* Hands-on experience polishing/deburring small parts

* High level of efficiency, attention to detail, and focus on quality.
Monday to Thursday 8:15 am to 4:45 pm, Friday 8 am to 2 pm.
