As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and efficiency in our busy training and hospitality environment. Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain high hygiene standards Assist with the washing up of pots, pans, plates, and cutlery using dishwashers and by hand when necessary Support chefs by carrying out basic food preparation tasks as directed Ensure the kitchen and storage areas are kept tidy, organised, and free from hazards Collect and dispose of waste in line with health and safety guidelines Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation and organisation Assist with maintaining inventory levels of cleaning supplies and reporting shortages Adhere to all food safety regulations and company policies Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen atmosphere Qualifications Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding cleanliness and organisation Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and their proper care Knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices Excellent time management skills Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team Food hygiene certificate is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required for the right candidate Flexibility to work various shifts from 7am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, no weekends.
