Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Specialist Orthodontist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving patients' smiles and confidence through orthodontic treatment. This role requires a deep understanding of dental anatomy and the ability to utilise advanced medical imaging and CAD technology to design effective treatment plans. The Orthodontist will work closely with patients, dental hygienists, and other dental professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct comprehensive orthodontic examinations and assessments of patients.
2. Develop customised treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals.
3. Utilise medical imaging techniques to analyse dental structures and plan treatments effectively.
4. Apply orthodontic appliances such as braces, retainers, and aligners.
5. Monitor patient progress throughout treatment, making adjustments as necessary.
6. Educate patients and their families about oral health, treatment options, and care instructions.
7. Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide integrated care for patients.
8. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
9. Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthodontics and dental technology.
Qualifications
1. A degree in Dentistry followed by a recognised postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics.
2. Proven experience as an Orthodontist or in a similar role is preferred.
3. Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, orthodontic principles, and treatment methodologies.
4. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and CAD software is highly desirable.
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
7. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
