Customer Team Leader
Location: 12-16 Christchurch St, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 3AD
Pay: £13.65 per hour
Contract: Roles of 20 and 30 hours per week + regular overtime, part-time, permanent
Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing), and weekends, to be discussed at interview

We’re looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op.

As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll be part of a friendly team dedicated to helping our customers. You’ll help lead the store team, coaching and supervising team members, deputising for the Store Manager, and performing tasks like re-stocking shelves and cleaning spillages.

What you’ll do
* Provide friendly, welcoming, and helpful service, managing the store and handling challenging situations
* Develop your team’s skills through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture
* Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and operational
* Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy
* Support your store manager by deputising when needed and assisting with HR processes
* Lead the introduction of new products and services, encouraging feedback
* Build relationships and support the local community, assisting with the Co-op community plan
