Main duties of the job We are eager to recruit a Consultant Practitioner Psychologists or Consultant Psychological Therapist passionate about working with service users and MDT staff in our inpatient services, sited at Lynfield Mount and Airedale General Hospitals. The post hold will clinically lead and manage the psychological staff working into our inpatient wards and work with the inpatient leadership team to support people to get their needs met and develop their strengths in as proactive and effective manner as possible, ensuring all work is underpinned by the principles of a trauma informed approach. Staff support & development through supervision, training, reflective practice & psychological debriefing/safe spaces are key components of the role. The successful candidate will be experienced working with adults with complex mental health needs and familiar with working through a trauma informed lens to understand what has happened to people and ways to alleviate their distress. It will help if they've experience of working with people and teams in a range of settings, in particular inpatient environments.
