Your new role
Working within the group finance team, this is a 14-month maternity cover FTC supporting the half-and year-end reporting processes, and additional corporate projects. You'll also work within the management accounts team, supporting month-end divisional reporting. Job duties include:
1. Assist with the preparation of the annual Group and subsidiary statutory accounts (FRS 102).
2. Support the joint venture companies’ year-end audit process.
3. Support day-to-day requirements of the external auditors, including coordination of information provision by colleagues.
4. Assist with the provision of financial and other information to the Group’s finance team.
5. Assist with other external financial reporting projects.
6. Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, which may involve analysis of data, preparation and posting of journals in SAP and quality review of reported information (training using SAP will be provided), working directly with divisional and other colleagues.
7. Provide ad hoc support as required to the Management Accounts Team, which may include day to day management reporting activities.
What you'll need to succeed
ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant with good working knowledge of UKGAAP, and experience of year-end reporting processes. You'll be available to start in early 2025.
