We are now looking for an experienced GP Receptionist to assist with and be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties and the provision of administrative support to the clinical team. Previous experience within a GP Practice would be an advantage.
Requirements:
* Excellent customer service skills with a courteous and friendly demeanour
* 1 year's experience using System One
* Excellent IT skills and solid knowledge of Microsoft Outlook (Excel, Word, Outlook emails, etc.)
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a professional manner
* Proficient written and spoken English
Your Responsibilities:
* Maintain and monitor the practice appointment system
* Process personal, telephone, and e-requests for appointments
* Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls, or dealing with the callers’ requests appropriately
* Initiate contact with and respond to requests from patients, team members, and external agencies
* Data entry of new and temporary registrations and relevant patient information as required
* Manage all queries in an efficient manner
* Monitor and maintain the reception area and notice boards
* Provide general administrative support such as scanning, copying, and supporting the clinical team
Hours: Working patterns are between 08:00 – 18:30 on a rota basis.
The role will give you a high level of exposure to many administrative tasks as you work closely with the Practice Manager and is the perfect role for a talented Receptionist who is keen to take on a new challenge within a fast-paced environment.
