Job Title: Social Media Manager EMEA ANZ
Location: Fully remote
Hours: Standard office hours, Mon-Fri
Pay: circa £40K p/a
Duration: 12-month contract with view to extend
ROLE SUMMARY
Our client, a well-known household name and global brand, is looking for a Social Media Manager to join their their Regional Digital team, the Social Media Manager (reporting to the Digital Marketing Director EMEA ANZ) will be leading the paid social media strategy for 2 of our main brands (STANLEY and BLACK+DECKER) and becoming the main point of contact for these brands in the EMEA ANZ region.
The ideal candidate must be familiar with the current digital landscape and have demonstrable hands-on experience in the paid social platforms of focus (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok), understanding media planning fundamentals to support the planning, set up, execution and reporting of paid media campaigns across the region, in collaboration with our media agency and in-market social media specialists.
This role will work closely with the following stakeholders:
* Media agency: including Account Director, Paid Media Strategists and Paid Media Experts
* In-house regional team: including Digital Marketing Director, Digital Performance Managers, Social Media Manager, and Data & Analytics Manager
* In-house local teams: including Marketing Directors, Digital Marketing Specialists, and Social Media Specialists
* In-house Brand Managers
* In-house Customer Service team
RESPONSIBILTIES
Paid Social Management & Administration (60%)
Together with the Digital Performance Manager and our Media Agency, participate in the planning of campaigns by offering input from a paid social media perspective.
Align with Analytics Manager and perform QA checks to ensure that brand campaigns are properly set up with the correct pixels and conversion events in the relevant platforms.
Monitoring and assessing ongoing campaign performance; assisting in strategic analysis of campaigns from a paid social point of view.
Review and feedback on performance reports during the campaign live period, ensuring campaign performance is optimised.
Review and feedback on campaign close out reports, helping communicate key insights and recommendations to the local markets.
Work closely with local Digital Marketing and Social Media Specialists on ad hoc requests around campaigns.
Advise on content and ad format best practices to ensure our campaigns are compliant with the latest recommendations from the relevant ad buying platforms.
Research on paid social media trends and lead the communication of updates to both the regional media team and the in-market specialists when relevant.
Assist in-market team members in troubleshooting and fixing issues related to platforms by offering potential solutions and raising tickets to support teams.
Align with Customer Service team to ensure Community Management service is working at optimal levels.
Support local markets that run paid social Always-On activations by establishing the minimum investment that will guarantee that we meet our media principles and objectives.
Social Media Analysis & Insights (20%)
Share competitive and brand social media insights at least on a quarterly basis, with the help of our social media analysis tool (i.e., Sprinklr).
Build Listening dashboards on Sprinklr to track awareness of topics of interest according to annual brand objectives (e.g., launch of new product, brand revitalisation, etc).
Together with the Regional Digital Performance Manager and Digital Media Executive, provide insights to keep building on our media strategy and principles.
Social Media Governance (10%)
Work closely with the Regional Social Media Manager EMEA ANZ in making sure our company complies with best practices around social media governance.
Management of platform accesses and make sure all stakeholders comply with safety measures (i.e., 2-factor authentication, use of corporate emails, etc.)
Make sure all the pages and ad accounts from the brands you oversee are housed in the proper Meta / LinkedIn Business Manager and TikTok Business Centre.
Contribute to keeping our client’s social media assets and architecture organised and up to date.
Align with the Regional Social Media Manager EMEA ANZ on driving consistency on the approach of our social media structure and governance.
Influencer Marketing Strategy (10%)
Together with the Regional Social Media Manager, define strategy around influencers across EMEA ANZ.
Support in gathering data and building a benchmark to work out regional recommendations focusing on investment volumes across the region.
Offer expert advice to local markets who are planning activations with influencers, from a strategic perspective by using influencer analytics tools such as Creator IQ.
Support the Regional Social Media Manager in building a catalogue of construction, trade, and DIY influencers.
Assist with the management of contract and accesses to our influencer analytics tool (Creator IQ).
MIN. QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field is required, with additional certifications in digital marketing preferred
High proficiency in English (C1-C2) is a must. Other European languages will be a plus.
5-7 years digital campaign management experience (Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok channels are a must)
Experience working with social media analytics tools such as Sprinklr, Sprout, Koros, Emplifi or similar
Experience working across multiple markets within the EMEA ANZ region
Agency role experience desirable, or alternatively proven experience working closely with an external agency to deliver digital media campaigns
Strong understanding of digital content requirements by platform (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, others)
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data & develop an action plan driven by insights (Excel skills a must; GA4 experience will be a plus)
Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex solutions in a simple narrative to a broad audience
Creative thinking & problem-solving abilities to develop innovative ideas & solutions
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, multi-national teams across a matrixed organisation
Comfortable to build & nurture strong working relationships with internal & external stakeholders from a remote setting
Great collaboration skills to handle relationships with stakeholders across markets
