What will you be doing? As our Business Development Manager, you will develop and implement strategic plans to secure new clients within the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors worldwide. This role involves promoting and selling our unique in vivo drug development research models to biotech and pharmaceutical companies globally. With an established network within in vivo research, you will tap into your expertise and connections to build a strong customer pipeline and drive growth. You will be responsible for the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, including developing proposals and negotiating terms. The role involves a blend of remote work and in-person meetings with customers. You'll also represent the company at industry events and conferences, contributing to brand building and establishing a strong market presence. Role Requirements The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a closely related role. Preferably, this experience should be within the drug development paradigm, including a background knowledge in DMPK (Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics). An in-depth knowledge of in vivo research tools applied to drug development and/or regulatory hurdles (for example, in relation to the prediction of drug/drug interactions) will also be an advantage. The successful applicant will be skilled in forging strong customer relationships to drive revenue growth, with the ability to travel when required.
