Job Description
3. Working with PR team, develop new and innovative ways to launch new events and generate press coverage
4. Dealing with press enquiries and requests, along with PR and Comms Director
5. Keep and update coverage lists and manage all other elements of media monitoring
6. Working with the PR team to draft press releases - including putting them on the website
7. Working with the PR team to draft blog content for emails and social media
8. Liaising with benefitting charities regarding volunteers and social media posts
9. Keep media distribution lists up to date
10. Updating elements of the media page including photos/carousels/pink hero box etc
11. Liaising with social media team to pull together plans and ideas for content
12. Work with the team on campaigns to illuminate the buildings for events
13. Update information documents
14. Transferring folders over from year to year in Shared Drive
15. Help to deliver media coverage through high quality proactive and reactive media
The Successful Applicant
16. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal at all levels and to be able to grasp the language and mood of the charit
17. Excellent grasp of the English language - spelling
18. Excellent telephone skills.
19. Good interpersonal, negotiation and assertiveness skills in dealing with problem solving;
20. Excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail essential;
21. Adaptable and resourceful - able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines, whilst responding to multiple demands from a variety of sources;
22. Used to working with sensitive and confidential information.
23. An excellent knowledge of IT including Excel, Word and web databases;
