At Career Teachers, we are currently working with several primary schools in Sheffield who require Teaching Assistants to work on a long-term, full-time, part-time, and day-to-day basis. We are looking for resilient Teaching Assistants with strong behaviour management skills to join our successful team from January.
Your Requirements:
* Experience working with children and young people.
* A recognised teaching assistant qualification such as Level 2, Level 3, or a degree in education or transferable skills.
* Confident in managing challenging behaviours, defusing situations, and creating a calm and positive environment for students to progress in.
* A calm, patient manner with a positive can-do attitude.
Your Role:
* You will be working with the class teacher and other members of support staff to ensure that the pupil receives the care required to cater for their unique needs.
* You must be able to build trusting and meaningful relationships and ensure that they are engaged in learning and activities.
* This is a full-time role starting this September; we are looking for a committed and passionate teaching assistant who is looking to join a successful team of practitioners and really make a difference!
