Job responsibilities
As a Bank Inpatient Physiotherapist at Spire Norwich Hospital, you will support in assessing patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient's needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect, collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.
1. To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, treatment and advice to patients within an inpatient setting.
2. To work as an integrated member of the physiotherapy team whilst independently managing a clinical caseload of mainly orthopaedic patients.
3. To liaise in an effective and timely manner with referrers regarding patient progress and any future management.
4. Using clinical reasoning skills develop treatment plans that are appropriate to the patient taking into consideration their physiotherapy care, risks and wellbeing.
5. To contribute towards service development projects as part of a wider departmental strategy.
Who we're looking for:
* You must be a qualified physiotherapist with a valid HCPC registration.
* You must have at least 12 months post-graduate experience with inpatient experience.
* Experience in orthopaedics is essential.
* Experience in managing a caseload with confidence in clinical reasoning.
* Someone who can commit to at least 1 shift per week (Ideally on weekends).
