Description IC3 - Data Center Technician Role Established Technician – This employee works independently and autonomously. Technically skilled and resourceful enough to handle any situation that may arise. Covers 24/7 shift work, prioritizing work on severity. Helps define process and acts as a mentor/coach to more Jr peers Responsibilities Support of world-class data center environments by targeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as, but not limited to, Time to First Response (TTFR) and Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR). Independently ingests and performs work on both a tactical and strategic basis Contributes to process creation and assists in the training and Quality Assurance (QA) of their more junior peers. Adheres to all established SOP/MOPs when performing tasks, ensuring all work complies with OCI DCS rules, colocation vendor rules, and signs-off All ticket work will follow proper etiquette, with detailed and timely updates, appropriate to the severity Any part utilization will be appropriately handled, stored, and returned, if applicable. This includes processing these transactions with corresponding DCI updates, all processed without error All work will comply to 5S standards Operates in a way that reflects conscientious care with meticulous attention to detail. This includes maintaining required security controls, completing all compliance requirements in a timely fashion and transacting inventory, spares, and data bearing devices without error This attention to detail results in no human errors causing impact or outages and no transaction errors. Also, reports health & safety hazards / issues. Contributes to the improvement of operational best practices at a site level.
