If so, we are keen for you to join the Ultrasound team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG).
This is a unique opportunity to work within the Humber Health Partnership (HHP), delivering training and education in ultrasound primarily across the NLAG sites, but working closely with colleagues at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) with whom we are in partnership.
In this crucial role, you will contribute to the improvement of recruitment, retention and training for the Sonography workforce. We are looking for someone who is committed to developing and enhancing training in ultrasound imaging across the region.
You will be working within the NLAG team of dedicated, hardworking and friendly sonographers. Working across site you would be responsible for developing and enhancing training in ultrasound imaging.
We Are Looking For
* A qualified, registered Sonographer with a proven background in clinical practice
* Experience in mentoring, teaching, or supervising within a healthcare setting with a focus on sonography
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and inspire learners
* A commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice and patient care
Your Role Would Include
* Providing mentoring, clinical training and educational support to the sonography workforce by supporting trainee Sonographers and Radiologists
* You will lead and enhance delivery of clinical education, and be responsible for organising all educational and training requirements necessary for all staff within the NLAG team
* You will help design and deliver educational training programmes and sessions that promote continuous learning and professional growth within the team
* You will collaborate with HUTH in order that training and education across the HHP can be unified, this may on occasion involve travel to support collaborative working and training delivery
* You will have a shared level of responsibility for all aspects of the NLAG Ultrasound service with the local Sonography Leads
