An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Export Administrator to join a dynamic and fast-paced freight forwarding team in Boldon. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong customer service skills and experience in export operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle customer service inquiries, including taking bookings and providing updates.
* Input data into the AS400 system.
* Ensure correct allocation of cargo to flights and services.
* Prepare and complete MAWB and HAWB documentation.
* Process customs entries via the ASM Sequoia system.
* Manage order tracking and resolve accounts queries.
* Process and complete import entries.
* Generate invoices and maintain POD control.
* Create consignments into ERTS using the Sequoia system.
* Support the wider team with any additional tasks as required.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a freight forwarding environment (Air Freight or Sea Freight Export preferred).
* Strong customer service and telephone communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-related systems.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Willingness to adapt and take part in training programs.
* Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required.
Benefits Package:
* Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience
* 20 days holiday increasing to 25 days after 5 years
