As a Support Worker, you will work Monday - Friday 08:45am - 16:10pm supporting service users within a Day centre based within Rhondda Cynon Taff.
Your duties will include:
Meet & greet service users between 08:45am - 09:30am
Support service users going into their daily activity groups encouraging them take part.
Support service users at break times. There will be 2 per day both morning & afternoon. Times to be confirmed each morning.
Assist service users with their snacks such as tea, toast, biscuits, cakes etc
Engage and encourage service users to interact with activities such as cooking, art, playing musical instruments, story time, reminiscing of old days, reading etc
Assist service users at lunch times - cutting up food, guiding & encouraging them to eat
Assist with personal care as & when needed
Assist service users getting ready to go home - help them onto the busses, taxis etc
