There are part time, full time and long term roles with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Successful candidates will earn a minimum of £87 a day. If candidates impress in a school trial they can be paid up to £108 a day (PAYE/Umbrella). The ideal Learning Support Mentor should: Have experience working as an Key Stage 1 or 2 Class Teaching Assistant or SEND enviroment Be flexible and patient. Be able to communicate effectively within a team Be able to work 8.30am-3.30pm The ideal candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following: Encourage the pupil to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher. Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence. Provide feedback to the pupil in relation to progress and achievement under guidance of the teacher. Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with the lesson plans and assist with the display of the pupils work. Use strategies, in liaison with the teacher, to support the pupil to achieve learning goals targets/appropriate to EYFS. Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS.
