Salary: £35k-£40k pa (40 hours per week)
Working closely with: Marketing & Communications team, Events and Role Modelling team
Summary:
This role is for an immediate start and will help manage the marketing and communications function at INvolve as well as provide support to TNON (The Network of Networks) and The BBBA (The Black British Business Awards). Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications and co-working alongside the Marketing Manager, there will be a specific focus on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI)-specific content creation, social media management, website support and responsibilities that will stretch into supporting INvolve’s annual Role Model Lists that showcase global, diverse leaders in business.
The Marketing & Communications Manager will help to devise and implement our marketing and communications strategy and ensure all external activity reflects the INvolve brands effectively.
This is a remote role but the post-holder will need to be within easy travel distance to London (approx: 1 hour) for occasional events and team days.
Key responsibilities:
* Working internally and externally to ensure INvolve has clear and consistent brand messaging in line with our brand guidelines
* Work closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications to develop and implement a strong Marketing & Communications strategy
* Tracking of communications activity and reporting against agreed KPIs
* Supporting the Head of Marketing and Communications with the overseeing and management of all social media channels
* Stakeholder management: Working to ensure that key stakeholders within the business are represented and positioned as thought leaders on a variety of topics.
* Content creation in line with INvolve’s priorities, ranging from social media graphics, brochures, reports and video content. This includes managing relationships with external designers where necessary
* Proofing and copy-editing for teams where required

The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience with website management, specifically Wordpress.
* Suitable skills in email marketing and the use of Mailchimp.
* Working experience in graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
* Video content creation skills are useful, but not required.
* Strong writing skills, with experience in writing for a variety of purposes – editorial, social media and email communications.
* Social media skills – identifying content opportunities, creating content and scheduling to help us build our online presence, company brand and growth.
* The ideal candidate will have some degree of comfort talking about diversity, equity and inclusion in business (DEI). The breadth of our content ranges from LGBTQ+ inclusion and anti-racism in business to more corporate content for top-level senior leaders. While an established knowledge of these areas isn’t a requirement – a keen willingness to engage in this level and type of content is a must.
