Role: Principal Business Analyst
Location: London / Milton Keynes (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office)
Reporting to: Head of Programmes & Analysis
The Role
Rightmove is seeking an experienced and versatile individual for a brand-new, multifaceted role. You'll draw on your hands-on experience as a pragmatic business architect or consultant to lead target operating model design. At the same time, you'll leverage your business analysis and leadership expertise to drive and elevate our business analysis practice. If you excel at balancing high-level strategic design with detailed, technology-focused execution, and you're passionate about developing and empowering others, this role could be the perfect next step for you.
What you'll be doing
Business Architecture & Business Analysis
* Lead the creation of target operating models on major transformation initiatives alongside our Enterprise Architect
* Create multi-use business architecture deliverables to communicate the current or future Rightmove operating model
* If required, lead the business analysis work on major technology-focused discovery activities or initiatives
Leading the Business Analysis Practice
* Provide line management, support and coaching for 6 business analysts
* Support the business analysts with the development of their careers
* Drive efforts to continually improve the standard of business analysis in Rightmove
* Be an advocate for business analysis within Rightmove
We’re looking for someone who is

What you'll bring to the role
* Experience of leading or contributing to the creation of target operating models
* Experience of creating a range of business architecture deliverables such as capability models, value stream models and conceptual data models
* Experience of leading and developing a team of business analysts
* Enough knowledge of technology to be able to understand proposed solution architectures and work closely with architects and engineers
* Multiple years of experience as a hands-on business analyst working on the full lifecycle of initiatives
* Experience of a wide range of business analysis techniques such as requirements capture, business process modelling and improvement, data modelling and system specification
* Experience of working with and influencing senior stakeholders
Ideally
* Experience of working in a B2B subscription business
* Experience of working with Customer Service and/or B2B Sales divisions
