Position: School Support Worker
Location: Wellingborough
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Pay Rate: Competitive rates of £13.33 - £15 per hour (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
As a School Support Worker in this specialized environment, you'll play a crucial role in assisting students with autism, helping them overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and socially. You'll be joining a supportive, inclusive team committed to fostering a positive, structured environment tailored to the unique needs of each learner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored support to students with autism, assisting them in their day-to-day learning and social development.
2. Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create a supportive learning environment.
3. Assist with behaviour management and promote positive behaviour in line with school policies.
4. Help to create a safe, nurturing space that meets the individual needs of each student.
