Control Room Operative - Lateral Move Permanent Grade 3 - £25,119 - £31,364 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week The business-critical Security Service provides 24 hours a day, 365 days per year service to 101 service charged residential tower blocks owned by Birmingham City Council. Security Service Control Room Operators maintain the security and integrity of service charged high rise blocks. Monitoring and responding to door entry requests from visitors, carers, emergency services etc. Also responding to property intercom calls. Providing advice, signposting and taking responsive action on receipt of calls received from tenants reporting noise nuisance, asb and for fact finding/identifying the source for emergency repairs for vulnerable tenants. Willingness to undertake training which maybe outside of normal working pattern. Ability to work shifts.
