We are currently recruiting for an experienced skilled mechanical assembler to join a long-established manufacturing company based in Halesfield, Telford on a temporary – permanent basis. Pay £12.50 - £14.00 depending on experience Working hours Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00 Friday: 08:00 - 15:00 Expected hours: 43 per week - Overtime available subject to approval Duties Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications and technical drawings. Utilise various power tools, hand tools and machinery/ equipment to complete tasks. Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery and tools. Experience Proven experience in mechanical assembly or a similar experience in related field. Familiarity with power tools and hand tools is essential for this role. Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Previous experience working in a warehouse setting is advantageous. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork is highly valued.
