Key Responsibilities:As a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the purchase ledger function. Your duties will include:
1. Processing invoices: Ensure all supplier invoices are accurately processed and coded in the accounting system.
2. Supplier payments: Organise and execute payment runs, ensuring suppliers are paid within agreed terms.
3. Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier statements with the ledger and address any discrepancies promptly.
4. Expense management: Oversee staff expense claims and ensure proper authorisation and payment.
5. Month-end support: Assist with month-end processes, including closing the purchase ledger and providing reports.
