An opportunity has arisen within the Regeneration and Community Services Directorate for a Cook to be responsible for the production of meals and food services.
You will undertake the full range of Cooks duties which include organising and supervising the work of other members of catering staff, monitoring and recording whilst paying particular attention to hygiene and safety, sickness, food safety management system, health and safety procedures and complying with all administrative duties and procedures.
The successful candidate will possess a City & Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or NVQ Level 1/2 in Catering and a Food Safety Level 3 Certificate. You will have experience of working within a catering field and practical catering skills.
Thorough pre-employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process. The postholder will be required to complete an application for a Disclosure of Criminal Records.
