Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Violence & Aggression Trainer based at Ailsa Hospital on a fixed term/secondment basis for 18 months.
What You Will Do
The role involves supporting the provision of a professional training service in all matters relating to the management of Violence & Aggression, ensuring the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of an efficient training programme. This is a physically challenging role and will require working flexibly at training venues across the organisation and occasionally at other venues.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
This position will bring you into contact with a broad range of employees throughout NHS Ayrshire & Arran; therefore excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all disciplines of staff are essential. You must be able to demonstrate your abilities in the delivery of training courses. You will be required to hold a current Therapeutic Management of Aggression and Violence (TMAV) Instructors Certificate or equivalent; however, training is available.
Driving Licence/Car Ownership
A car owner/driver is essential for this role.
Hours: 37 per week.
