ECM (VDS) Ltd is a Car Transporter company with a fleet of over 500 HGV transporters. At our head office near Carlisle Airport in our fabrication workshop and new paint shop facility, we have a vacancy for a Bodyshop Administration Assistant.
Duties of the role will include:
1. Creating and processing job cards
2. Monitoring job hours and part usage
3. Ordering parts
4. Organising vehicle IVA process
5. Cost reporting
6. Working with our stores department on stock levels and usage
This is a full-time position with a good rate of pay – weekly salaried position. Full training and uniform will be provided.
Essential Requirements are:
* Experience in using day-to-day computer programs, including Microsoft Excel and Word
* Good communication and telephone skills
* Flexibility in achieving work demands
* Own transport to and from work due to our rural location
* Willingness to learn new tasks and take on new responsibilities
* Previous experience of working in a similar vehicle or heavy goods workshop environment would be an advantage, but not essential
This role would be 40 hours per week from 08:30am to 17:00pm (1/2-hour lunch), Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturdays may be required.
