We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to lead the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering the highest standard of the EYFS and extensive experience in working with children. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively with staff and parents, and a drive to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Key Duties:
Oversee the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's development according to early childhood education principles.
Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their children's progress and addressing any concerns.
Plan and organise daily activities, ensuring they are engaging and age-appropriate for the children.
Ensure the nursery maintains a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and play.
Conduct regular assessments of children's development and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Efficiently manage nursery budgets, resources, and supplies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting (at least 5 years).
Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A drive for excellence in childcare management and a passion for nurturing young minds.
Level 3 childcare qualification is a must, with Level 6 preferred.
