Role Responsibilities: As a Prison Officer, you will ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of everyone around you by: Supervising prisoners in all aspects of prison wing activity. Overseeing work and education programmes, encouraging participation. Handling operational matters like headcounts and security. Managing prisoners at risk of self-harm. We operate 24/7, requiring shifts on days, evenings, weekends, nights, and bank holidays, offering a rota that allows for meaningful time off. Preparing for your recruitment journey: The recruitment process includes a competency-based interview, a short Maths and English assessment, and a 10-week Initial Training Course (ITC) consisting of classroom training and shadowing.
