Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to support children with special educational needs (SEN). As a Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant, you will receive high-quality training while gaining valuable on-the-job experience. This position is perfect for those who have a love for helping others but may not have previous experience or qualifications in education.
We are working with a number of Secondary Schools based in South Manchester, and ideally candidates would be able to commute to Trafford and/or Stockport.
Role highlights:
- Earning potential up to £100 per day (depending on experience)
- Client schools all have secure car parks and good transport links
- Working hours 8:30am – 3pm

It is essential that candidates are confident and organised so that they can offer good levels of support and give detailed feedback on progress to line managers and senior members of staff. Typically, the successful Teaching Assistants will be supporting students with core subjects, including English, Maths and Science.
Essential candidate requirements:
- The ability to be flexible and work closely with all school departments to identify and help those students that need additional support.
- It is essential that applicants are able to build relationships and connect with a variety of students from different backgrounds.
- Candidates must be organised and have experience supporting students in 1:1 and small group settings.
All applicants will require appropriate qualifications/experience and the Right to Work in the UK in order to be considered for this role. In addition, applicants must have an enhanced DBS (or be willing to pay for an updated one) and provide an Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and 2 professional references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
