Advanced Nurse Practitioner Mount Pleasant Practice
Are you an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner looking for a rewarding part-time role within a supportive and dynamic healthcare team?
We are excited to invite applications for a part-time, permanent ANP position (4 sessions per week) to join our thriving practice, providing care across two sites.
Main duties of the job
1. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, and Nurses.
2. Provide care and treatment to patients with long term conditions or undiagnosed and undifferentiated diagnoses.
3. Diagnose, manage, prescribe, and discharge patients with illness or injury across all age groups, including young children.
4. Conduct consultations via face to face appointments, telephone, or video consultations.
5. Operate as an autonomous practitioner, ensuring patients receive timely and effective care.

Job responsibilities
What We're Looking For
1. Qualified and experienced ANP with independent prescribing rights.
2. Expertise in managing acute and chronic conditions in a primary care setting.
3. Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
4. A commitment to patient-centred care and teamwork.
5. Desirable confidence and experience in managing minor illness presentations in children from aged 6 months.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Meets NMC revalidation requirements.
* Meets the standards for registered ANP working at an advanced level.
* Qualified triage nurse.
Experience
* Experience filing pathology results.
* Experience of prescribing and undertaking medication reviews.
* Experience of working in a primary care environment.
* Able to see all age groups.

Depending on experience, salary available upon request for 16.5 hours a week.
