Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
1. Individualised Support: Offer 1:1 or group support to students, adapting teaching methods to meet a range of learning styles and abilities.
2. Resource Preparation: Collaborate with teachers to prepare and organise materials, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
3. Inclusive Education: Promote positive social interactions, understanding, and respect among students with diverse abilities.
4. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, working closely with the teaching team to provide full assessments and feedback.
5. Classroom Assistance: Work collectively with teaching staff to assist with classroom activities, ensuring a nurturing and supportive environment.
Requirements:
1. Enhanced DBS Check
2. Relevant Qualifications: Possess relevant teaching or education qualifications, or experience within a school setting.
3. Empathy and Patience: Demonstrate a compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to support students with diverse learning needs.
Additional Details:
Hours: This is a full-time position
Salary: Competitive, based on the M1 - M6 teaching scale, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Location: Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire
