Data Administrator Location: Oldham, OL9 Salary: Starting at £11.59 per hour, increasing to £11.79 per hour based on performance Hours: Monday/Friday - 7:30am/4:30pm Duration: Temp To Permanent upon a successful 12 week probation Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Data Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing data within our internal IT systems, SMS and TREX. Full training on these systems will be provided. However, prior experience in data administration is preferred, as this will help ensure confidence in working with various PC systems. Key Responsibilities Data Processing & Troubleshooting : Accurately input and manage product data in SMS, ensuring correct categorization and resolution of data issues. Handling Non-Conforming Items : Identify and process non-conforming items (i.e., items received from Amazon that should not have been delivered). Accurately record and report such items. IT Systems & Software Use : Utilize SMS and TREX systems for data entry, maintenance, and reporting. Microsoft Office Proficiency : Create and manage pivot tables and manifests for tracking and returning non-conforming goods. Following Procedures & Compliance : Adhere to company procedures regarding non-conforming items, overages, data uploads, and product bookings. Interdepartmental Communication : Liaise with different teams to explain and resolve data discrepancies. Communicate findings and resolutions to Process Leaders when necessary. Key Skills & Competencies Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to troubleshoot and identify product data issues efficiently. Computer Literacy : Competent with IT systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). Attention to Detail : Ensure data accuracy, following structured processes without cutting corners. Process-Oriented : Ability to follow established procedures and adopt new ones as required. Communication Skills : Capable of explaining non-conforming item resolutions and data corrections to relevant stakeholders. Salary & Progression Starting pay: £11.59 per hour (equivalent to an operative role). Performance-based pay increase to £11.79 per hour (admin level 2).
