International Move Coordinator – Bedfordshire, UK
Alchemy is working with a well-established international moving firm that is looking for an International Move Coordinator to join its team in Bedfordshire. Experience in the removals industry is needed. International relocation management expertise is preferable but not required. The role focuses on providing great customer service and guaranteeing client satisfaction throughout the moving process.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Serve as the initial point of contact for removal customer inquiries for international and European removals.
* Review and assess removal clients' and customers' needs and issue a removal survey if necessary.
* Plan the removal process and make arrangements for any additional services required (such as packing).
* Arrange insurance coverage for the removal customers' moves.
* Obtain all customs papers and complete customs clearance.
* Liaise with removal customers during and after the relocation to keep them informed and reassured throughout the process.
* Collaborate with the internal operations department to ensure that the appropriate resources are available and allocated for the relocation.
* Handle and settle any claims and/or complaints from removal customers.
* Maintain the budget for the removal to ensure that the company's profit expectations are met.
* Invoice the removal service and collect money from the consumer.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous expertise with household goods removals and relocation coordination is required.
* Strong customer service and experience.
* Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
* Comfortable with technology, particularly Microsoft Office apps and CRM systems.
* Knowledge of EU customs formalities, A-level education, and experience with EU driving hours laws.
* Experience with fine art would also be beneficial.
