An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary Selby CAMHS team. Selby CAMHS offers getting more help interventions to children and young people within the Selby and rural district. In addition, we are commissioned to provide ASC diagnostic assessments and ADHD diagnostic assessments and post-diagnostic support.
As a Family Therapist, you will be providing highly-skilled systemic interventions for the families of young people with severe, complex and persistent mental health problems and/or neurodevelopmental conditions. You will be responsible for in-depth risk assessments, formulating crisis planning, and providing evidence-based and formulation-driven systemic perspectives to the multidisciplinary team. You will manage a complex caseload, facilitate groups, monitor clinical progress, and engage with young people with a range of mental health needs and developmental difficulties.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering family therapy, providing assessments and interventions to young people and their families or support systems. They will also support staff development, training, consultations, and input into the multidisciplinary team.

* A qualification that leads to registration with a professional regulatory body (HCPC, GMC, NMC or Social Work England) AND current registration with this professional regulatory body.
* AND A qualification that provides eligibility to apply for accreditation in one of the four Governed Psychological Therapies outlined in the table below.
* AND Evidence of continuing professional development.
Experience

* Delivering psychological therapy in own field.
* Working with people with severe and enduring mental health problems.
* Working in multi-disciplinary team settings.
* Delivering staff training.

* Experience of psychological therapy provision in complex cases.
