We are looking for an ambitious team player who strives for technical excellence to join our QA team at the Tote. As QA Analyst you will work as part of an agile squad to carry out testing on Tote backend systems using Postman and SQL database. The role will be 37.5 hours per week and based from our Wigan (Greater Manchester) office with presence required onsite 3 day per week Tues, Weds, Thurs. What you’ll be doing: Execute test plans and scenarios for all products in line with development and roadmap schedule Documenting all instances of testing defects and providing timely reporting for stakeholders Ensure product test scripts are meeting compliance requirements Accurately logging, reporting and monitoring progress on all defect fixes including daily, weekly Working collaboratively with operational, product and engineering teams to establish QA testing requirements Making recommendations for improvement in products and QA process where needed and feedback any suggestions from the team Working with the Senior and Lead QA to establish an automation first coverage across all business channels Performing peer reviews on drafted test scripts to provide sign off or suggested amendments Attend and participate in three amigos sessions to define when and where your test coverage can be automated Who we are looking for: We are looking for an ambitious team player who strives for technical excellence and can demonstrate the below skills and experience; Proven experience working in manual testing within an agile environment Proven experience testing against APIs using Postman Strong understanding of writing SQL queries Ability to understand business and functional requirements and to perform requirements analysis Ability to communicate in a clear and timely manner with a wide selection of stakeholders Ability to prioritise and adapt rapidly to changing business conditions ISEB Foundation in Software Testing is desirable Our perks and benefits: Our colleagues are the heart of everything we do and play a vital role in our success.
