A public sector organisation is looking for a Building Control assistant to join them during a busy period. This is a 6-month contract with a potential extension.
Your new role
As a Building Control Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the building control team by ensuring compliance with building regulations, and utilising the Uniform software system for efficient workflow management.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Assist in the preparation and submission of building control applications.
2. Maintain accurate records of all building control documentation.
3. Use Uniform software to manage and track applications, inspections, and approvals.
4. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely processing of applications.
5. Schedule and organise site inspections and meetings.
6. Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing enquiries and providing updates on application status.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations and standards.
8. Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external use.
What you'll need to succeed
If you're a proficient user of Uniform software or have excellent knowledge of building control, I'd love to hear from you and discuss this role in more detail.
