We are currently recruiting for a Trade Counter Advisor to join our established Glarryford branch.
Our team in Glarryford is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Customer Service Advisor who prides themselves on delivering first-class service and who can really make a difference. In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for contributing to and exceeding customer expectations while supporting the achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling products.

Branch opening hours: Mon - Thurs 07.30 - 17.00, Fri 07.30 - 16.00, Sat 08.00 - 12.00. We are flexible to consider a variety of working hours/patterns to suit your needs!

Duties include:
1. Provide an exceptional level of customer service to all customers, building relationships both over the phone and face-to-face, including prompt and accurate responses to online/ecommerce customer queries.
2. Identify and generate sales opportunities for the full range of JP Corry products.
3. Provide realistic quotations to meet both customer and business needs.
4. Ensure a high standard of ‘good housekeeping’ throughout the store.
5. Development of new and promotional product lines.
6. Carry out all cash transactions, refunds, and till processes accurately and in accordance with branch procedures.
7. Ensure sufficient levels of stock are on the shop floor, ordering more as required.
8. Any other reasonable duties deemed necessary.
Suitable applicants will ideally have:
1. A passion for delivering a first-class customer service experience and knowledge of what great service looks, sounds, and feels like.
2. Proven experience within a face-to-face sales and customer service-based role.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to be a real team player.
4. Proficiency in IT and good computer literacy and telephone skills.
5. Web sales, e-commerce, and social media experience.
6. Ideally, knowledge/experience of the construction/building materials industry.
