Axcis are looking for a part time Mathematics Teacher (0.6) to work in an alternative specialist setting in the Torbay area. You will be delivering bespoke lessons to pupils in Key Stages 3-5 on a 1:1 basis. The working hours for this role are from 8.30 to 4:30, with pay rate ranging from £27,631 to £38,899, depending on your previous teaching experience. Staff do not take planning or marking home, as they are given two hours PPA each day of work to plan, prepare and assess.

For this role, the college are looking for candidates who have experience of teaching Mathematics at either college or secondary level. Experience of working with vulnerable children, or children with additional needs, is desirable but not essential. In addition, the college are looking for applicants with a positive and nurturing approach, as this is imperative to form positive relationships with the pupils.
