An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Engineer - Engineering based in Wrexham.
The Technical Support Engineer requires a detailed understanding of wireless, networking, system troubleshooting, test and measurement principles, and the processes of asset condition assessment. Training and formal education will be provided on an ongoing basis.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Customer support via telephone, email, and other communication methods.
2. Support participation in international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events by technical demos (as required).
3. Logging and clustering of support tickets to ensure solution improvement and bug fixes.
4. General department duties e.g. monthly reports, visit reports, expenses, and department/workshop tidying.
5. CRM system (C4C) input and maintenance.
Technical Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications:
1. Some technical qualifications in areas like site electrical work, IIOT implementation, Networking, Deployment of wired and wireless monitoring.
2. Ability to learn complex technical skills quickly with an emphasis on IT and technology elements.
3. Some experience using an online support ticketing system and feedback of engineering improvements to a development team would be beneficial.
