Job summary An exciting opportunity has risen for a Physiotherapist to join the BHR Falls Team as Falls Specialist Band 7 BHR Falls team provides multi disciplinary care to patients across the Boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge. Main duties of the job The service aim is to assess and treat frail patients in their own homes and clinics and avoid unnecessary hospital admission. service The therapist will be supported with continuing professional development and will be supported to undertake training in order to competently assess holistically and order equipment that is necessary to keep a patient safe at home allowing them to complete activities of daily living. The role will require the successful candidate to work as part of multi disciplinary team, by carrying out current evidence based therapy techniques, providing thorough assessments The candidate will also need to engage with other MDT members internally and externally. Support will be given to the successful candidate to apply to attending professional development training, such as NMP and advanced care practitioner courses.
