The Lar Group, led by the Lar Housing Trust, is a charity providing mid-market rental homes across Scotland. Lar Operations, our community interest company, oversees letting, management, and maintenance, ensuring every property and communal space meets our high standards.
About the Role
This is more than just a cleaning job – it’s a people-focused role where your efforts directly enhance the living experience of our tenants. You’ll have the flexibility and autonomy to manage your day-to-day responsibilities while working closely with our small, supportive team based in Dunfermline.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Performing high-quality property cleans for tenancy changeovers.
* Ensuring communal areas within developments are consistently clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: hoovering and dusting communal stairways, washing windows and doors, maintaining floors (with periodic carpet shampooing), tidying lifts, sanitizing high-touch surfaces such as handrails and handles, and conducting regular litter picking to uphold a high standard of hygiene and presentation.
* Providing an on-site point of contact for our tenants, providing assistance with property viewings (as required).
* Feeding back to property managers any issues noted on sites that need further attention or maintenance.
* Working to a system of KPI’s to ensure a consistent level of quality.
* Assisting the Property Manager and Asset/Maintenance team Other duties as reasonably required.
Full training, a work van and all required cleaning equipment will be provided to the chosen candidate.
