An opportunity has arisen in MSK physiotherapy for a Band 7 Team Lead.
This is a full-time permanent post and will be based at our Kenilworth clinic. The base may need to change due to service demand. Part-time hours will also be considered.
Here at South Warwickshire, we have a diverse and inclusive culture working with several physiotherapy specialties including Orthopaedics, Pelvic health, SWIMS, Pain, Respiratory, and Neuro outpatients.
The service is seeking expert musculoskeletal Physiotherapists who can demonstrate extensive postgraduate musculoskeletal clinical skills, knowledge, and experience, which will inspire colleagues and enhance service quality. As a leading health provider, we aim to attract dynamic expert staff with advanced communication and leadership skills.
We also provide coaching and mentoring both formally and informally to enhance your learning and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Communicate well with their departmental lead, colleagues, and wider MDT in order to deliver a caring and effective patient service.
2. Inspire and mentor junior colleagues and undergraduate students offering expert recommendations and providing invaluable support.
3. Manage the department on a day-to-day basis.
4. Effectively and efficiently manage their own patient caseload.
5. Possess great organisational and leadership skills.
6. Deputise for Pathway Lead.
Main Duties of the Job:
1. To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to patients in area of specialism.
2. To work in conjunction with the Pathway lead in planning, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating the service area on a day-to-day basis.
3. To take a lead role in the provision of support, clinical supervision, and highly specialist advice to less experienced physiotherapy staff and undergraduate students within the physiotherapy department.
