An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of a Commissioning Officer, and we invite applications from experienced and enthusiastic people to join the Strategic Commissioning and Procurement team. The position will work closely with operational staff across all areas of the Council, but predominantly with colleagues within the Adult Social Care and Health Integration Directorate, with a focus on commissioning community-based services and prevention. You will be a key part of the team supporting the service areas with a real focus on improving outcomes for residents of Middlesbrough, whilst also securing services which deliver best value for money. You will have the skills to work collaboratively with partner agencies such as health colleagues, police, housing, independent sector providers, voluntary and community sector, as well as other local authorities.
