Internal Telesales Role
This is an exciting opportunity; the successful candidate will join a great sales team, working for a supplier of renewable energy products based in Elland.

Our client is a distributor of Solar PV, Energy Storage Systems, Batteries, and Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers. Selling to installers around the UK, it’s a business-to-business sales role.
This is an excellent company for a salesperson to work for, offering market-leading products and added value, like a training academy that provides product and industry training, meet the manufacturer events, and sessions that help installers understand the ever-changing incentives, policy changes, and technical advancements.
Role:
Our client is looking for a confident, motivated Internal Business Developer, with the ability to work alongside a successful sales team, which includes a Sales Director, external Business Development Managers, Internal Account Managers, and Sales Order Processors. The successful candidate will play an important role in the business's plan for future growth, helping to make appointments for the external sales reps, re-activate dormant accounts, and open accounts for new customers. You must be comfortable contacting potential clients via email, phone, and social media, and have the ability to accurately identify and qualify opportunities.
Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrate previous experience in an internal sales role, involving telephone sales work/cold calling.
2. Competent in using social media, LinkedIn, etc., to network sales leads.
3. Able to promote products, services, and training to prospective customers through various marketing activities.
4. Build rapport with potential clients/dormant accounts.
5. Identify and qualify opportunities and make appointments for external sales reps.
6. Use computers and experience working with a CRM database to record sales activity.
7. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
8. Demonstrate self-motivation and a desire to succeed.
9. Work using your own initiative while being a team player.
10. Potential to attend company exhibitions and events.
Key Competencies:
1. Positive attitude, friendly and motivated, able to build positive relationships with potential/dormant customers.
2. Good market research skills.
3. Excellent social media, networking, and marketing skills.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Accurate data entry on the company CRM system.
6. Identify and discuss new business opportunities with the Account Managers and the Sales Director.
7. Excellent internal communication with the wider team.
8. Achieve targets and deadlines set by the Sales Director.
