We are looking for a School Administrative Assistant to join our team! This varied and rewarding role will see you working on reception as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students, while also playing a key role in supporting school attendance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Providing a warm and professional welcome to visitors, parents, and students at reception
✅ Handling enquiries via phone, email, and in person
✅ Supporting attendance monitoring, including liaising with parents and carers to follow up on absences
✅ Maintaining accurate student attendance records and assisting with reporting
✅ General administrative support, including data entry and record-keeping
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
✔ Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
✔ A strong communicator, both written and verbal.
✔ Proactive and resourceful, able to respond positively to a wide range of issues
✔ Confidential and professional, handling sensitive matters with discretion.
✔ Experienced in administration, preferably in an educational setting.
✔ Tech-savvy, with strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, MIS systems, etc.).

Hours: 5 days per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:00pm and Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm
Term time [38 weeks per year] plus 4 weeks during INSET and school holidays.
Although the advertised role is full time, we would consider part time hours requests for the right candidate.
